*moan* I'm such an idiot...
So I got an electric guitar yesterday, but it didn't come with any guide or anything for tuning, etc. All it had was a DVD, and I couldn't find the DVD remote.
Throwing caution to the wind, I set about tuning it, but I didn't know exactly what octive the note should be, only that it should be an E, or a D, etc.
Well. This afternoon after I got home from school, I decided that the sixth - and thinnest - string was an octave too low...
I set about tuning all of them an octave higher. When I got to the sixth string, a high E, it broke as I was at a C.
Disgruntled, I grabbed the spare. Mind, I have no idea how to properly string an electric guitar. After some guess and check, I had a some-what strung guitar. As I was tightening the knob because some string was still sticking out, guess what? The string broke.
Did I mention it whacked across my hand, giving me a.... string-cut?
So now I feel like a complete moron. And I still can't find that DVD remote to play the stupid tutorial that came with the electric guitar.
If I seem annoyed with anyone, it's not really them. It's my stupid Roto GT-5 Peavey Electric Guitar.
