Cometeyes slid from his den and out into the clearing. EarthClan cats stood around, sharing tongues, and the latest stories. Kits bounced around the nursery, apprentices practiced outside their den. It was a normal day in EarthClan. With a grin, he padded towards the center of camp, looking for someone to talk to. He was bored. Herbs were arranged, he had plenty, and no one to care for. It was good to know your clan was healthy, but prepared for anything, but a medicine cat got bored when there was nothing to do. So, he was out here, wondering if anyone wanted to talk to the crabby, impatient medicine cat.

prisestar saw cometeyes out in the clearing was something wrong? she padded out from the shadows near her den and sat next to him "is something wrong cometeyes?" pridestar asked

goldsplash the heavily pregnancy she-cat padded into the clearing and right up to pridestar "hello!" goldsplash was happy because her kits were due in a short time

Whitemane followed after Goldsplash, his mate and leader's daughter. He nodded his head politley to Cometeyes and Pridestar. "Greetings. How goes it - with you both?" he asked, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his large paws.

The large tabby tom looked up as Pridestar padded over, with her daughter close behind. At Pridestar's worry, he grinned. "Well, no, except for the fact I'm bored out of my brains! There's nothing to do." he mewed, stretching out a bit. I really ought to get myself an apprentice...then I wouldn't have these problems with boredom he thought. Though, he really couldn't picture himself putting up with an apprentice. He was never so good at the whole teaching thing. "What's up with you guys these days?" he continued, noticing Whitemane had come.

Cometeyes nodded at Pridestar's words. "I know. I've been watching the nursery the past few sunrises, but I don't think the right kit is there just yet." he replied. There were kits in the nursery, but they all seemed to just be the kits that would grow to be warriors. None struck him as the medicine cat type. Maybe one of Goldsplash and Whitemane's kits will be right... he thought, though he couldn't be sure until they actually came.
