Shatterstar is a large, muscular, black and white tom with dark green eyes. His legs are long, and paws larger then most cats. His large size and build make it clear that he's not built for speed, but strength and fighting. His pelt is a mixture of random black patches thrown across white, and is always kept clean and smooth. His claws are long and sharp, built for climbing the trees in FireClan's cave. His pads are also hard, from walking on the hard ground and climbing trees all the time. His tail is long and thin, and good for balance, like any cats tail. His ears are large and pointed, and look tall atop his head.

Personality:

Shatterstar is bad-tempered, loves to fight, and is just downright mean most of the time. He may sound evil, but this tom is driven by StarClan. Nothing can pull him form the warrior code. He's deathly loyal, nothing is strong enough to break that. He isn't a great hunter, there's a good amount of warriors that are better, but he can catch his own prey. Fighting is clearly his strong point, you can tell from his build, and if you've fought with him, you find he's very concentrated. He doesn't concentrate on his opponent, but their position. He knows the best moves for winning. But, he doesn't always win. Sometimes, his moves backfire, and the other cat does the unexpected, and he ends up beneath them, and retreating. He's a good leader, his first priority is his clan. He would give his life for a clan mate.

History:

Shatterkit was born into a large litter of 9. His parents were two cats named Icebreak and Windwhisp. His siblings were Cometkit, Mystickit, Skykit, Stormkit, Loustkit, Tornadokit, Spiderkit, and Nightkit. He was born in the middle, and was always the largest. He used to sneak off and practice fighting with his brother, Locustkit. When he became an apprentice, his mentor was an older, strict warrior named Rusteyes. Rusteyes was respecting by all FireClan cats, and was very hard to please. He drove Shatterpaw on, never complimenting him. Shatterpaw tried so hard to please him, but all he got was a scowl and a gruff 'I've seen better.' He became a warrior in time though, earned his name Shatterheart. Before then though, under the harsh leadership of Kestrelstar, his siblings left. Only Mysticpaw stayed behind. He's unsure of where the others went, but figures they're still alive. One day in one of Kestrelstar's terrible battles against AirClan, the previous deputy died. The evil leader appointed Shatterheart as deputy, as he was one of the best fighters in the clan. In another battle, Shatterheart fought alongside Rusteyes. She old warrior met his death that day, and the last words spoken were 'You fought like three warriors, Shatterheart. I'm proud.' Shatterheart had finally gotten his praise. But his heart was still hardened from going so long without it. He could be called 'evil', but his ways are driven by StarClan. Now, Kestrelstar was on his last life when Shatterheart was appointed deputy, and it was lost only 5 moons after Shatterheart became deputy. He was leader at 23 moons, but is respected among the clans, like all the other leaders. Now, his siblings went to different places. Cometpaw and Lucustpaw went together to EarthClan, but Cometpaw never felt at home. He became a loner, and later a kittypet. Skykit and Tornadokit went down to WaterClan, and made their home there, while Spiderkit and Nightkit went to AirClan. They are now warriors, and meet at gatherings and talk.

RP Example:

The large tom spun as a small apprentice leaped into his den. 'WaterClan...Border...Warriors on our territory...fighting...Come quickly...' the apprentice meowed between heavy breaths. That was all Shatterstar needed. "Lioneyes! Whitespirit! Tanglefur! Frostheart! Rabbitpaw and Poolpaw! Come, battle at AirClan border!" he yowled as the faces he called poked out from around in the trees. He flicked his tail towards the camp exit, and bounded out of the cave, the other 6 right behind him.

He slowed near the border, and saw a few cats, outnumbered completely by AirClan cats. He growled and stood tall, dark green eyes narrowed and menacing. He leaped onto a large tortoiseshell she-cat, knocking her off Mudpaw, a young apprentice. They tumbled around, Shatterstar clearly winning. With one last swipe to her flank, the AirClan warrior ran. He saw Tanglefur with three AirClan warriors, and growled. "Three against one. How fair is that?" he growled, leaping to help Tanglefur. They soon had one running, but the other two were still fighting strong. Shatterstar growled and leaped at ne. But he judge the tom wrong. The tabby tom sidestepped and watched as sahtterstar landed hard on the ground. He darted beneath Shatterstar, clawing at his soft underbelly. Shatterstar let out a yowl. It was clear the swift AirClan cats were winning. "Retreat, FireClan! Retreat!" he called, bounding into the bushes. "This isin't the last you'll see of us, AirClan! We aren't cowards!" he called behind. He hated to give up a battle, butt hat was one they couldn't win.
